Donating Platelets To The Red Cross!

This is our general/production manager Gary donating platelets at the Red Cross Donation Center in Norfolk, Virginia. He has been donating platelets every other week for the past seven months. Many lifesaving medical treatments require platelet transfusions. Cancer patients, those receiving organ or bone marrow transplants, victims of traumatic injuries, and patients undergoing open-heart surgery require platelet transfusions to survive. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an extreme shortage of blood and platelet products available. Anyone that can donate, we encourage you to contact your local Red Cross or visit them at www.redcross.org and schedule an appointment to donate blood or platelets.
